Vision of the Future Nogizaka46 Version


hi, welcome to another post. So recently we got the news that Ito Marika from Nogizaka46's 1st generation is graduating, also a few months prior we hear that Nakamoto Himeka is graduating as well. and with the Tokyo Dome concert date getting nearer, who knows, maybe we will see another member announce her graduation. clearly something is going to change within the Nogizaka46 Senbatsu line up. so now i'm going to make my own vision of the future, i'm going to make a vision of what the Nogizaka46 Senbatsu line up looks like in the future. for this i'm going to go 3 years into the future to the year 2020, i choose this year because it is the year of the Tokyo Olympic and it would be nice if Nogizaka could perform on the opening ceremony (and it would be better if the current senbatsu is the one performing, but it probably won't because of graduation). ok, we got the year, now let's go to the formation, and i think the formation would probably look something like this

ok, so i decided to have a 19 member senbatsu with a W-Center configuration, i choose the W-Center format because they have been doing it since Influencer and i think it would stay that way for a while. and now let's get into the more detail stuff, the members

Position 3 and 4 (the Center)
Yoda Yuki and Ozono Momoko




The golden child from the 3rd gen, Yoda and Ozono have gained a lot of fans and attention ever since they were chosen as center for Nigemizu, and they could only gain more. people might think that Saito Asuka and Hori Miona would be the next "ace" of the group, and to be honest i think so as well. in the long run i think Asuka and Miona will have more center position than Yoda and Momoko. but i put Yoda and Momoko in the center here for a reason which i'm going to explain in a moment.
Position 2 and 5 (The Guardian Angel)

These 2 spots is arguably just as important as the center, they are the 2 position either side of the center or centers in this case. because they are so close to the center, they're going to be the closest support for the center. Miona and Asuka is perfect for this spot, they have the experience needed to support the young centers. why i don't put them in the center you might ask. well, the great Sashihara Rino once said that "never make your biggest star front and center of the group, because she will take all of the spotlight from the other member." that's why i don't put these 2 in the center, because if they were front and center, they would take all of the attention. and to be honest, Nogizaka have done the same thing for some time now with Shiraishi Mai and Hashimoto Nanami, they could've gotten more center position in Nogizaka, but in reality they don't, they play the role of, yes you guessed it, the one either side of the center, the Guardian Angel.

Position 1 and 6 (the Wings)
Kubo Shiori and Ikuta Erika


 The 2 final spot of the front row, i choose to put her Dorkiness Ikuta Erika, and the 3rd gen who have gained a lot of attention recently, Kubo Shiori. Ikuchan  is an obvious choice here, she's a first gen, very popular, and also very very talented. Kubo meanwhile, is much more interesting, she has gained a lot of attention lately without even being in the senbatsu. she's already become an exclusive model for a magazine, and become an ambassador for her hometown (prefecture), and i can only see growth from her. also Ikuchan and Kubo has a duet song for the 19th single, so that's great.

Position 7 to 12 (second row)
from left to right : Yamashita Mizuki, Terada Ranze, Hoshino Minami, Kitano Hinako, Watanabe Miria, Takayama Kazumi

Biggest surprise here is probably the inclusion of Takayama Kazumi, she's one of the older one from the 1st gen and maybe on her way out of the group. but i think she's going to stay in the group for a while for the sake of Nogizaka, she's such a great person, we see time and time again she's willing to do the hard stuff when her friends can't do it, so i think having that kind of personality in the group is priceless. then we have Hoshino Minami and Kitano Hinako directly behind the centers. for those of you who don't know, Hoshino Minami used to be the top 3 member in Nogizaka, for the first 5 singles she was always right beside the center, but then her position started slipping until she's drop out of senbatsu altogether. but now she's slowly rising up the ranks again, and soon i think she'll be one of the most important member in Nogizaka. Kiichan is also a good pick, because she's been gaining some traction recently, she has a great personality, very energetic and lovable, and if she could stay healthy, i think she would be a great member to have. Ranze and Miria, those 2 have a great potential, both have been center for the undergirls, Ranze even has senbatsu experience, so i think in the near future, they're both going to be a senbatsu regular. and finally Mizuki, she have gained some attention recently with the Wakasama Gundan, and i think we haven't seen the best of her yet.

Position 13-19 (the third row)
from left to right : Umezawa Minami, Higuchi Hina, Ito Riria, Ikoma Rina, Sagara iori, Wakatsuki Yumi, Saito Chiharu

Finally we got to the 3rd row, and here there are a few interesting thing. first we have Ikoma Rina, i think Ikoma is an irreplaceable person in Nogizaka, she's the first center, the first ace, one of the best personality in the group, and i think for the sake of the group she'll stay for a while. then we have Wakatsuki, honestly at first i'm not going to include her because i think she'll be graduating already, but ever since she announce the Wakasama Gundan and that it will include the 3rd gen, i thought that she'll probably stay for a while. then we have Chiichan, Hinachima, and Iori, these 3 are very underrated and deserve more senbatsu spot. finally Ririan and Umezawa, i think these 2 still have more in them that's why i include them.

and that's it, that's the senbatsu that i predict for the future, and i should say that it doesn't mean that the other member especially the 1st gen is going to be gone, i think girls like Sakurai Reika, Kawago Hina, Nakada Kana, Saito Yuuri, Inoue Sayuri, Noujo Ami, Kawamura Mahiro and some other would still be in the group. same goes with the 2nd gen. so they will still have a very strong under member to back the senbatsu. finally i also want to hear from you guys, what do you think the Nogizaka46 senbatsu would look like? and i if i can i would also make a similar post about the AKB48 senbatsu, but until then
