Hinatazaka46 - Konna ni Suki ni Nachatte Ii no? Impression

Hello and welcome to another post. this time its a review of Hinatazaka46's newest single, Konna ni Suki ni Nachatte Ii no? This is going to be my first review of any Hinatazaka single, the reason why i didn't do any for the other single is, well a couple of reason. For Kyun, i didn't make any review because i was still on hiatus at the time (at least from writing blogs). and for Doremisolasido, well, the reason is simply that i forgot to make one, that's it, no excuse. its not that i didn't like them or anything, i actually started to get more into them, especially after they're became their own thing. a lot of interesting character in the group, very good music, and some good music video as well. and that's what i'll be doing here, listening to good music, and good music video............hopefully. also, i want to point out that this MY opinion about the single, if you have different opinion you can tell me down in the comment

Konna ni Suki ni Nachatte Ii no? (Senbatsu)

Well, it didn't take them that long to change their style didn't they? this song sounded very different from the first 2 single. is it a good thing or a bad thing? i don't know, but personally i think changing your style for only your 3rd single is a bit early. But the song itself, i actually really like it, i like how it flow, i like the acoustic guitar sound, and i really really like the chorus part, it feels like it has weight to it, very intense, and i really like that.

for the music video, again, very different style to the first 2 single, they definitely turn the brightness down for this one. i like the stylistic choice for this music video, it suits the song very well. the environment fits well with the choreography, making it looks dramatic and theatrical. very good camera movement for the most part, except for the shot where they have the camera handheld without any stabilizing equipment, like in the opening part with the backs shot of Nao. its very shaky, and not in a good way. there is some example of this in the music video and it doesn't look good for any of those shot, they should at least put the camera on a tripod, because the weight of the tripod will make the camera more stable even when moving, and it will make a better shot. but overall, i like the music video.

Honto no Jikan (Senbatsu)

This song is really good, very upbeat, and very very catchy, basically its very Hinatazaka. i like it a lot, the verse part is nice, the pre-chorus is a very good build up to the chorus, and the chorus itself is very catchy, and very uplifting. the melody is very good, its just a very good song.

But i can't say the same with the music video though, i don't really like the style they use for this MV. because they use a lot of camera and editing trick in the MV, it just make it look fake and flat, even though it technically not fake or flat. the reason for this is lighting
this shot shows it perfectly, you can see that every member is equally lit from the perspective of the camera, which is impossible because they are all in different distance from the camera. also the lighting is very flat and almost remove all of the shadow, which make the members looks like they're floating, and the lighting on the members is different from the lighting on the environment, which again, make it look fake, and removing all sense of depth in it.
another shot that i didn't like is from the 2nd chorus, again the lighting pretty much ruins it, its really flat and really bright, it remove almost all sense of depth in the shot, not a big fan of it.

Ichiban Suki da to Minna ni Itteita Shousetsu no Title wo Omoidasenai (Kamimura Hinano)

That's one hell of a title. anyway, Kamimura Hinano's solo song, at first listen, i didn't believe that it was Hinano's voice. and to be honest, it sounded very forced. its hard for me to enjoy the song because of the vocal, even though the melody was quite alright.

the music video, nothing much really to talk about, its fairly generic. its nicely shot, and has some good bits in it

my favorite bit is the transition between these 2 shots, it require a very good timing and precision to pull off, and even though its not perfect, the distance was a bit off, it still looks great. but other than that, not much else.

Mama no Dress (Lima Cantik)

I'm going to say this now, this is my favorite Hinatazaka46 song, for now at least. listening to the intro i thought they were going to make some Bohemian Rhapsody style song or something. but no, it turns out to be a very catchy, very groovy, very happy, oldschool jazzy/swing style song, and i love that style of music. and that piano solo on the second verse, sooo good, it just makes you want to dance along.

The music video, its just a very fun video to watch. it doesn't do anything particularly unique, but it just have so much smile, it fits the song perfectly, its just fun, i have no other word other than fun to describe this MV. i can imagine the director giving instruction to the member "just follow the camera, smile, enjoy the music and have fun". because it definitely feels like the members were having fun in this. anyway, how many times i say fun in this? lol

Masaka Guuzen (Matsuda Konoka, Tomita Suzuka)

From a very fun upbeat song, to a slower, calmer one. the star of this song is definitely the vocals, my god these 2 sounds great. their vocal power is very good. the melody of the song is also really good, very calming, but powerful at the same time.

Kawa wa Nagareru (Senbatsu)

The only thing i can say about this song is that its a generic electronic song, it sounded alright, but its not really for me.

and that's all of them, overall i think Hinatazaka46 3rd single is a pretty good one, some good song and decent MV, and one song that is just amazing. definitely looking good for the future
